Hello once again and welcome to this latest archive of some of my favourite songs from the 50’s and 60’s. Each Monday night beginning at 8pm eastern is when I am live with a varied selection of music for you. Approximately the same number of people listen in each week and I am trying to figure out what kind of music they like. I see people leave and then either the same ones come back or different people log in to listen.But no one has written in to give me any idea so next Monday night I am going to find out if it is old country songs that you like. Hi once again and welcome to this latest archive of most of my favourite music from the 50’s and 60’s. I am starting with an apology for going a bit crazy Monday night. I was tired before I started and as I watched the number of listeners dwindle I thought that I might shut the broadcast down early but then a very curious thing happened. More and more people clicked on really late in the broadcast. There were as many listeners as when I first started at around 8pm. Also, I ask but no one writes to me! I don’t know what you want in terms of upbeat songs or slower ones. Never any requests. I want to know where you are listening from. Also, I still have the CD for anyone who requests it. It called ‘The Look Of Love’ by Diana Krall. Anyway I will return with more great 50’s and 60’s music next Monday night at the same time. It will officially begin at 8pm eastern time Monday night. But I must ask you to stop right now and let your friends know about it. It seems that each week I have the same number of listeners and I only ask that it increases even by one listener every week. That’s all. I am not asking you for monetary donations, just your help in letting others know about this website. [of course, donations would really help me out too!] I really look forward to Mondays. I know that it’s hard to believe. Most people really hate Mondays but I don’t. I end up hearing music that I haven’t heard before and it’s because I have recently acquired the songs. Thousands of them! I click on a song and never really know what it will be. So get ready to possibly hear a song or two that you haven’t heard before or in a very long time. And what about those radio jingles that I play you might ask? Growing up in Toronto I listened to CHUM 1050 radio and I loved it. I loved the music and the contests and the corny jokes of the announcers. Everyone had their favourite announcer. Mine was Jay Nelson. So make sure to listen in and let your internet friends know about the guy who has an internet radio station and plays the promos of a now long gone radio station. Hi and welcome once again to this offering of my favourite songs of the 50’s and 60’s. I had my headphones on for the entire two hours and twelve minutes program and tapping my toes along with the music. I truly believe that it’s the best music. It’s the music I grew up with. That was when the performers had genuine talent. No electronics back then to enhance their voices to keep them ‘in tune’. But you knew all that. Sit back and enjoy the songs and a few of the sound bytes that I ‘threw in’. Please let your friends know about this program each Monday night. That’s all I ask. Hello once again and welcome to you if you have not been here before. My name is Len and I operate a pretend ‘radio station’ where I play my favourite music from the 50’s and up. Yes, as you can tell from the word ‘favourite’ I am Canadian. As a matter of fact I ‘broadcast’ live each Monday night from Oshawa, Ontario which is just 40 minutes from Toronto. Anyway, please enjoy my humble offering of music and unintentional errors. I only ask that you let as many people know about what I am doing as possible. Hi and welcome to my make-believe ‘radio station’. I have always wished that I was a radio announcer. It did not work out for me but this is as close as I can get to working at a real radio station. I am having fun with this site because I am able to play all of my favourite songs. Plus there are so many new ones from the past that I have never heard before. I have always wished that the radio stations would play other songs by my favourite artists but, of course, the stations just played what was popular at the time. I wanted to hear ‘side two’ of the records. Anyway, here I am presenting music each Monday night and this web site is becoming more and more popular because people just like you must be letting their friends know. So what I present each Monday night starting at 8pm eastern is music from the 50’s and up. I also started playing all country music beginning at 7:30 until 8pm Monday nights.
